BABY TIME

BABY TIME

This past weekend a shower was held for a church friend so I tried my hand at putting custom vinyl on a portable baby wipe container.  A Cameo was used for the name, and a Cricut was used for the rest.  The baby feet were cut using the Cricut New Arrival cartridge and the vinyl was outdoor vinyl.  The Circles were cut using the Art Phil. cartridge  The back was covered in little feet and dots also.

This coming week will probably be used in starting on Mother's Day cards and projects for the upcoming craft fair at Sango United Methodist Church.  Come see us on Saturday May 11th in Clarksville TN and pick up some items.

Custom tumblers will also be available that day as well as other end of the year teachers appreciation gifts.

Final St Patricks & Easter Treats

Final St Patricks & Easter Treats

I did my first spring craft fair this weekend and it wasn't too bad.  Would have made more profit if my husband hadn't bought me a "Miche" purse for my birthday this week.  Oh well, still made enough to make it worth my trip there.  I'm going to post a bunch of items on this blog post.  Alot of them don't have as much bling as I would like due to quanitity that I had to make but sold well as Easter Basket stuffers.  Also sold some handmade baby cards and my Magnolia cards which I colored with Copics.

A variety of supplies were used in these projects, but of course, one of my favorite is the Jaded Blossom stamps for Easter.  I will mark those pics that used their stamps, they are just amazing!  Other items I carry in my online scrapbook supply store, please visit us at Creative Cutters Corner and join our Facebook page and blog too if you aren't a follower, we would sure like to have you.  Now on to the fun...

St. Patricks Day Treats #1

St Patricks Day Treats #1

Hey, everyone...hope everyone is doing well.  I have had good intentions on posting more often, but so far I'm not doing such a good job.  I have made tons of stuff since Valentines Day but never have posted anything.  This item is alittle lacking on the bling, but since I made so many for a craft fair, I didn't bling it up as much as I would like.  This is just one of the items that I am making for St. Patricks Day, I hopefully will post more this week.  Of course, I used Jaded Blossom stamps, Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge, and 2 Quickutz-Lifestyle Crafts dies which you can find in my store on sale at Creative Cutters Corner

Come see us this Saturday, March 9th from 9:00-3:00 at St. Francis Church in Dover, TN (between the McDonalds and BP). Lots of goodies will be available for your St. Patricks Day Holiday, and of course, for Easter Basket Stuffers for those little ones, and ones for Sunday School and church as well.

Happy Crafting....

Hello Kitty Valentine

Finally finished doing my great niece's valentines last night.  I had been looking for the past year for the "Hello Kitty" Cricut cartridge but didn't want to give my firstborn to get it. The prices for used cartridges were just out of this world.  I was lucky enough to have someone offer to sell me their cartridge before listing it. Thanks to Candace Palfrey for that referral.

My little niece has always loved "Hello Kitty" so I surprised her by making her Valentines with the new cartridge.  She wanted boxes of candy so in order to make it easy, I just cut a shape and attached the box to the back of the Valentine with hot glue (you do know that hot glue and duct tape can do anything).  For this project I used:
Cricut Hello Kitty Cartridge
Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge
Silver Stickles
Colored Cardstock
and of course
Jaded Blossom Valentine's Stamps

I have a few more custom Valentines to do tonight then it's on to St. Patricks and Easter stuff for an upcoming craft fair.  Come see me in Dover, TN at St. Francis Catholic Church on Saturday March 9th.  Custom Easter items will be available.  (Of course, I have to wait for my new Easter stamps from Jaded Blossom

Love Is In The Air

Love Is In The Air...Candy Love that is!!  Created a few more Valentine Treats that will be for sale and also used for my daughter's bus kids.  Just love doing these things.  This time however, I used a variety of supplies from more than one stamping provider.  So lets get started...

This first treat was created using Jaded Blossom Valentines Stamps, the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge, and my white gel pen.  So proud of myself for finally figuring out how to use the Bow Easy (thanks to a wonderful You Tube Video)  gracious knows I can't do one without it :)

Also used the clear bags  and Doodlebug twine that I carry in my store at Creative Cutters Corner

This idea came from a freebie tutorial that I received when I ordered my JB Stamps. So simple and cute.

These pencil treats are a great substitution for people who don't want to give candy too.  The stamps I purchased from My Creative Time.

Still have a few more Valentine Treats to make tonight for my wonderful great niece and a few custom orders.  Hope you have a blessed day and lots of crafting fun.

Valentine Treats for Alyssa

Valentines Treats for Alyssa

I spent the last few nights and part of this past weekend, working on my little great niece's valentines treats.  She likes to assemble them herself so I did one sample and she can do the rest herself.  Since they recently relocated to Italy, she has done her room in the black and pink theme.  They hope to visit Paris while they are over there, so I did them in the Paris theme.  Can't wait to see what she thinks of them.  Now on to the project:

Supplies I used are:
Paris Themed Paper from Hobby Lobby Paper Studio Pad Pack
Jaded Blossom Valentines Stamps
Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge
3x5 plastic bags
Hot Glue Gun
Candy

Depending on the topper, the candy I used was Hershey's Kisses, Nerds and Starburst.  These are available for sale, with or without candy.  Please contact me for details.  See us at our upcoming craft fair on March 9th at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Dover, TN   St. Patricks Day and Easter items will be available as well as the rose wreaths that have previously been posted on my blog and page.

Hope you enjoyed the project, will be posting my other niece's Lauren's valentines soon.  Check out my website for your scrap supply needs. (Cameos, tape, glue, etc...)
Hope you have a blessed day!

Purple Rose Wreath

Purple Rose Wreath

I have made one of these before, but the colors on this most recent one made this one my favorite (so far).  This one was a special order for a lady at church who loves purple just like I do.  I see another one of these in my future for my dear sister - maybe I can get it done before her birthday (next May)...That's my goal...you may think that is far away but with everything else that goes on it takes awhile.  I did sell a pastel colored one at a recent craft fair.  It sure was a "people draw", had to make a sign though that says, "Please don't touch" so that the roses would stay nice for the person who bought it.  It is time consuming, but I'm sure it will be something I will do all summer for next craft season. Hope my daughter is ready to rock and "roll".   I used the Art Philosophy cartridge, and glittered special paper pad from
K & Company.

Hope you have a blessed weekend.  Happy Crafting!

Turkey Time Treats

Turkey Time Thanksgiving Treats

Wow, it's been a busy few months getting ready for craft fair season. I've had two fairs already and four more in the coming months.  Have to make time for Thanksgiving dinner at my house for about 13 people...hope they are up to the challenge of going around the maze of craft stuff because Lord knows if I put it up, I'll never find it all again :)

One of the treats I have been selling at craft fairs is the M&M sticks.  The turkey ones were made with the special edition candy corn M&M's and the others with the Harvest Blend M&M's.  They were a big hit with the customers. Alot of people are placing them on their plates as a gift for family and friends.  All of the stamps came from Jaded Blossom, I just love their stamps!  The circles were cut with the Art Philosophy Cartridge, and the turkey shape backing from the Cricut Elegant Edges Cartridge.
If you are interested in ordering some for your holiday please contact me in the next 2 days and we can work out a rush order.

If I don't post again before next week, I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.  Take time to enjoy family and friends this whole holiday season as we never know if we have the promise of tomorrow.  Be Blessed!

Rose Wreath

ROSE WREATH #1

So excited, it's finally done!  Everyday for the past few weeks, I have been doing something or the other to this newest project.  Tweek here, tweek there. Finally added the last little tweek last night for the special lady that bought this wreath Sunday.  I used the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge for the roses, tons and tons of cutting, rolling (thanks to my husband and daughter), spraying, spraying, gluing, gluing...I told my daughter it is kind of like putting a puzzle together. Have to place each rose so that the ribbon and wreath underneath it didn't show.  I will be taking orders for this if you want one, let me know via email to creativecutterscorner@yahoo.com or comment on this blog and I'll get back to you with info as soon as I can.

So here goes the project.....

This is the final project close up

Spray glitter #1, then Spray clear Coating #2

I learned alot from doing this wreath, what to do first, what to do easier...it was fun and challenging at the same time.  Thanks to a FB friend, Kate for the inspiration.  I don't like the colors on mine as well as hers, but used what I could find.  Desparately wanted to use fall colors, but double sided fall cardstock is not easy to find. Guess I should have ordered that paper I saw from Stampin Up...(oh wait, think I will :)

Have a blessed day and I hope you enjoy looking at this project.  Please take a moment to comment and join as a follower if you haven't already.

Teachers Are Special People

Today's project is a little thank you gift for that special teacher (s) in your life or your child's life.  Going to be selling these this week at the craft fair "Frolic on Franklin" in Clarksville TN.  If you are around, stop by my table and say "hi" and pick up a few gifts or treats for teachers or even Halloween treats for those special little ones.  Also taking orders for cards for the upcoming holiday season.

For this project, I used clip art for the apple. Added a scallop circle from the Cricut cartridge "Elegant Edges",  and the tag die from Cricut Art Phil. Cartridge and Peachy Keen stamp for the little face (isn't it just adorable!) and of course my favorite party favor stamps from Jaded Blossom.  I used two packages of stamps for this project.  "Friendly Kisses" for the lifesaver tops, and "Teacher Appreciation" for the flags.

Can you please take a minute and become a "follower" just see the link here and also join me at my business facebook page (see Quicklink section)
Thanks! Hope you have a blessed weekend..Here's hoping my craft fair is a sell out!
